Three things worth knowing

  1. Mark — drag across text to select it, or switch to Draw box and drag a rectangle over anything sensitive.
  2. Edit — click a mark to move, resize or delete it. Nothing is final: undo and redo cover every action.
  3. Export — burns the marks into the pixels and rebuilds the file. The text underneath is destroyed, not covered.

Everything happens in this tab. Your file never leaves your device.

Higher resolution means a sharper and larger file.

JPEG is smaller. PNG is lossless and much larger.

Looks for content continuing past the edge of a mark, which can mean a mark was resized smaller than the text underneath it.

Possible leak

Some marks may not cover everything

That usually means a mark was resized smaller than the text underneath it. It can also be a false alarm — this reads pixels, not meaning, so a mark whose edge touches a table rule or a photograph looks the same.
